yep he makes amazing records, is probably one of the best hip-hop producers of the last decade and he also acts like a massively self-absorbed prick a lot of the time. so swings and roundabouts really.

if you are a hip-hop or rap fan then i'd be amazed if you didn't like albums like the college drop-out or jay-z's classic the blueprint which was largely produced by kanye west.
as i've said he's a an absolute prick, but yes he does do a lot more than just shout over other peoples songs,he makes great music.
