Farmville - how long before crops die?

I'm going camping for the weekend.
I'm a bit addicted to farmville.

Am doing a bit of planning ahead to figure out what I can plant that will be ready for harvesting on my return but need someone to clarify....how long before things die?

Ah Ok. That would exaplin why my strawberries were dead this morning!
