Hi
This is my first post so sorry if this seems a silly question....

Wondering whether to get my daughters haircut for the very first time, she has just turned 3.

Guess I'm wondering what other people have done with their daughters hair if they want it long? Want her to have long hair so would only be a little (very little ;-) trim to tidy up. Not sure whether to leave it to just grow or should get her a trim. Doesn't look that bad just a little wispy at the ends.

Thanks

little tidy up, keeping the length, wouldn't hurt.

I trim the wispy bits off dd's hair all the time. Looks much better.

I've heard from a hairdresser that introducing haircuts is a good idea - of course they WOULD say that but it's to get a child used to the idea of scissors being waved around their head and sitting still etc. I've now started getting my hair cut at home, and DS has a trim at the same time; the advantage of being at home is that I can plonk him in front of the TV and feed him grapes to keep him distracted...

thanks everyone really helpful - will make that appointment now!!
PS I'm guessing DD = darling daughter and DS = Darling son???? I will get the hang of this I'm sure
