So Cheryl Cole dyes her hair red and it's all wonderful

Yet the same media saying how great she looks are the same ones who often crticised Cheryl's fellow group member Nicola Roberts for being a red head! Doesn't make sense to me

Cheryl can do no wrong.

She will always be perfect in the eyes of the media.

Do you have a link to Cheryl Red Head?

mosschops30 · 15/08/2009 11:14

Agree Cheryl can do no wrong

I heart Cheryl xxxx

As a redhead myself, I think people always find it always more acceptable if somebody dyes their hair red, rather than it being natural.

Nicola Roberts - who I think is stunning - has lots of the attributes of the natural readhead: pale skin, pale lashes, 'gingery' (UGH hate the word ginger) tone to her hair.

Cheryl Cole, on the other hand, can be a red head AND have tanned skin, dark features etc.

Hats off to Nicola for flying the flag for readheads, but she's probably in the wrong genre to be truly accepted. Much better to be an indie (ish) kid like Florence and the Machine...

harleyd · 15/08/2009 11:37

thats the same colour as mine atm
am i fashionable

Flamesparrow · 15/08/2009 11:38

That isn't redhead red, that is purpleish red, completely different thing.

TheDMHatesMe · 15/08/2009 11:38

It too her a week to get that colour?! She looks like she's bought a box of cheapo burgundy hair dye from Superdrug.

Nicola's hair a much nicer colour, in my biased opinion.

Flamesparrow · 15/08/2009 11:39

Mine was that colour, tis now a horrible orangey brown.

LadyOfWaffle · 15/08/2009 11:39

She should have gone more...red. She looks like a poor student, doesn't look right at all.

TheDMHatesMe · 15/08/2009 11:39

x-posts Harley
I too have had that colour on occasion (courtesy of Superdrug) - I was just surprised that it took her a week rather than 20 mins.

Flamesparrow · 15/08/2009 11:40

I prefer Nicola's hair. Tbh her hair has never had any effect on me, it is the glowing white skin that I notice (which I know is natural and she can't help, tis just what always draws my eye)

harleyd · 15/08/2009 11:40

actually mines slightly more red...courtesy of schwarzkopf live! black/red

CybilLiberty · 15/08/2009 11:42

Cheryl's red looks cheap and nasty.

Lulubee · 15/08/2009 11:47

Thought she was pg? Is she not then? I didn't think you were supposed to dye your hair during pregnancy? Maybe I'm all confused...

Lulubee · 15/08/2009 11:48

Does look cheaply done though, she's suit a much warmer red IMO. I love red hair, deeply jealous of all you redheads.

CybilLiberty · 15/08/2009 11:49

Pixie Geldofs looks better, more expensive.

CybilLiberty · 15/08/2009 11:49

Not Pixie, Peaches

Flamesparrow · 15/08/2009 11:54

You can dye your hair during pregnancy

LynetteScavo · 15/08/2009 13:28

Agree with LadyOfWaffle, she looks like a poor student.

I think she's ruined her hair!

cornsillk · 15/08/2009 13:35

I had my hair like that when I was 15. Don't like it on Cheryl although she'd look good with a poodle perm. Nicola's hair is beautiful.

noddyholder · 15/08/2009 13:36

Agree cheryl looks terrible

hocuspontas · 15/08/2009 13:41

CherylCherylCheryl

You are beautiful. If you spend £100,000 a year keeping yourself that way why have you spent £5.99 on a DIY home kit that doesn't suit you. Who told you to go that colour? Danni?

SixtyFootDoll · 15/08/2009 13:45

I had my hair that colour once courtesy of Henna from body shop.
Has she doused herself in Patchouli oil too?

glasjam · 17/08/2009 00:17

She could dip herself in a vat of manure and come out looking gorgeous. Some people are just beautiful. Full stop

shinyshoes · 17/08/2009 00:31

Nice but not natural looking is it. Surely the point of dying is it looks natural
