I often listen to,and enjoy,her book programme on radio 4 (sad person that I am) and IIRC she has a young daughter.Sometimes she has come out with a few phrases that have made me wonder.

On my wedding day my mum gave me a little selection of funny and/or nice articles about "true love" and marriage and the like.

One was written by Mariella when she had got married, about growing old together etc.

It was lovely and made me blub.
