She looks amazing, it was worth every penny if she's happy now.

What a lucky cow having no stretch marks after four children!

shandyleer · 20/07/2009 18:31

I think she looks lovely. She does say that she didn't have the breast reduction purely for reasons of vanity but also because she was getting back ache. Tis her body, her life, good on her for going for what she wants I say.

CybilLiberty · 20/07/2009 18:33

Do you not feel she is letting the rest of us down and being shallow to boot AND making a last ditch attempt at a TV career playing on her new found (and bought)'Youth'.

It all makes me go

aside from the boob reduction (of which i have no knowledge as mine are like fried eggs), it is possible to not have stretchmarks and a flat stomach after 4 kids

i dont have any and am a size 8

PresidentTaylor · 20/07/2009 18:45

I have a flat tummy and no stretchmarks after 3 children. Am size 8-10. That was after gaining 4 stone+ with each pregnancy (I eat healthily but a lot when pg!). I do exercise and eat sensibly when not pg. Am not having another though so don't know if I would be the same after 4!

TheCrackFox · 20/07/2009 18:48

Well it looks like someone has reversed over my stomach with a land rover. On the plus side, my tits are still fabulous.

If I had a spare £5k I would almost certainly have a tummy tuck. Clothes just don't hang properly on me and, if I am being honest, my confidence has never really recovered. DH is, as usual, lovely about my body but I feel ashamed of it.

muffle · 20/07/2009 18:48

"Look at me I've had myself sliced up every which way and now I'm happy"

Well maybe for 20 minutes until the next letdown. If you're not happy, cosmetic surgery will not make you happy, not permanently. And what happens when you really get older and past the point of cosmetic repair? Why don't you learn to love yourself and accept yourself instead?

Oh and thanks for that very public message to young girls everywhere

Disenchanted3 · 20/07/2009 18:49

Yes the breats of a 16 year old and the neck of a turkey.

TheCrackFox · 20/07/2009 18:50

Yes, but a 16 year old turkey.

CybilLiberty · 20/07/2009 18:51

Would ANYONE 10 years ago have said 'If I had spare cash I'd buy a tummy tuck?'

Again,

I think she looks great but I was a tiny bit disappointed to see her on the cover of a magazine talking about her surgery. I thought she'd turned herself into the poster girl for Ms Average who takes a year to lose the weight. Ms Average doesn't have all that surgery at the end of it though.

Agree that the 'first of four children by four fathers' is really snide and misogynist.. All of her children live with her, and she is not an unfit mother! Her 2nd child's father left her!!

TheCrackFox · 20/07/2009 18:59

10 years ago I didn't have DCs. I do now and I can't begin to tell you how bad my stomach is. You know when you see pictures of women who lose 30 stone and then have all that spare flesh - well that is me but I only put on 3 stone in both my pregnancies. I go to the gym 3 times a week, not overweight and eat healthily. It really depresses me.

Disenchanted3 · 20/07/2009 19:01

same here fox

i have horrific stretch marks too, really bad.

Lou323 · 20/07/2009 19:01

well i was going ot buy it for research

but was SOLD OUT at the garrij

ExtraFancy · 20/07/2009 19:06

Consistent about the boobs maybe, but I really don't see how 'being proud of a body that bears the evidence of 4 children' correllates with 'I've got the body of a 16 year old'!

Ah well

MaggieVirgo · 20/07/2009 19:06

I think some people have less elasticity in their skin and that's it.

Usually people with elastic skin seem to be tall, thin, beautiful.... same people getting all the breaks.

My stomach is ok despite too kids, but my ARSE is just like broccoli florets.

HolyGuacamole · 20/07/2009 19:12

I just wish we lived in a world where stretch marks and flab due to childbirth weren't something to be ashamed of.

georgiemum · 20/07/2009 19:21

I have the body of a 16 year old... buried in the back garden...

seriously, has she never heard of airbrushing? I am assuming that those shots have been retouched within an inch of their lives.

She is still quite irritating though. Should've spent the cash on the kids.

Sidge · 20/07/2009 19:21

I think she looks pretty good (Photoshopping aside).

If the only surgery she had was on her boobs then it's not really comparable to Kerry "entire body lift, complete lipo and resculpt" Katona. Having nursed women who have had breast reductions the effect is life changing for them. Usually the reason for the surgery is far more than just wanting to look good in a bikini.

If I'd had I cup boobs that hung down near my belly button even with a bra on I'd be first in the queue to have them put back where they used to be.

KingRolo · 20/07/2009 19:59

Yes, didn't she go on Celeb BB to raise a bit of cash for the kids? That was her excuse for leaving her 6 month old for three weeks, she was broke and needed the money.

letsgostrawberrypicking · 21/07/2009 00:06

She looks amazing!! Lucky her

expatinscotland · 21/07/2009 00:27

I don't think she looks good. I think she looks fake and to me, that doesn't look good.

She's 41 and has had 4 children, what is so bloody wrong with that?

What kind of message is she sending to her sons and daughters: that you have to resort to surgery to feel happy about yourself or your partner just because you're over 40?

MrsSpringsteen · 21/07/2009 00:35
