Just HOW pathetic can Liz Jones get?

Yurtgirl - she had a column a few years ago planning her insanely extravagant wedding in the Grauniad. Then a column detailing why her marriage was a disaster (she was a controlling, insecure nutter, he was just a total creep) in another paper, and now various columns minutely examining how weird her attitudes to, well, everything, are, in the Daily Wail.

She's the sort of person you feel enormously sorry for, but at the same time want to throttle. Obviously bright, but wasting it utterly by obsessing about the absolutely meaningless and pointless in life. You can't help wondering what on earth happened to make a person quite that mind-blowingly neurotic.

well I feel sorry for her, she has made some dumb choices but so have many of us (me no exception). she likes writing about about her life which might seem a bit bonkers but crikey, some of you really really don't like her, woulda thought there were better targets for such vitriol.

She has the front page of next weeks observer womans magazine. Good grief.

the bit about lavishing gifts on the friend's child. i mean, she really seems to think that that has some kind of meaning...

It might not be too bad if lynne barber does the interview, she won't take any nonsense. As much as I like polly vernon I think it would turn into a competitive skinny-ness / shopping fest.

urgh... she gets worse week by week.
The most self indulgent, bitter, woe is me woman in the entire world, according to her column anyway...
Can she really be this disappointed with life do you think? or is it all column fodder?

I am not a huge fan of Liz's but I do sympathise with her.
Why shouldn't she move to the country and indulge herself in pets. Unlike humans such as her ex husband, they won't be able to hurt her in the same way.
By all accounts her ex husband ia a mysogynistic wanker. Mabe he had affairs because of her.
I see a very lonely, sad lady who is probably devastated she hadsn't had kids but is in denial.

Why she would want to publicise her marriage and it's demise is beyond me though.
