Difficult to access swimming lessons

We don't have a car. I have 3 dds at nearly three, nearly 5 and 10.
Swimming lessons in my town are a bus ride or a 25 min walk away
After school lessons would mean me either finding childcare for one or other of the DDs or taking them all on the bus or walking with one in pushchair and other two walking and moaning.
Classes for DD1 and DD2 do not run at the same time.
Classes are after school or on a Sunday night.
DD1 did swimming lessons up until this january, really enjoyed it and was quite good at it. We stopped going because the level 7 classes on a Sunday were at 6.30pm and this involved getting one of the one an hour busses at 5.15 and hanging around at the pool and then walking home after swimming because the last bus had gone.

So do I do the after school thing and have DD1 and DD2 swimming at different times but hopefully [but not actually found out if they do]one after the other and take DD3 or arrange a fellow mum to mind her for the 2 hours this would take up?

Or I could apply for them to do classes one after the other in the next town on a saturday morning. Getting a train for 15 mins and walking for 5 mins to pool in which case DP would be around to mind DD3?

Or scrap swimming?
