£40 Mothercare vouchers - what to buy?

MIL has given us £40 of Mothercare vouchers she got for opening up a bank account or something. Having borrowed, been given, freecycled or ebayed practically all of my 6mo DS's material needs I'm at a loss what to buy new.

I use cloth nappies so don't need disposables.

Breastfeed so don't need formula.

They don't stock the next car seat I'd like to buy so can't put it towards that.

Would love a playpen but at £80 I'd still have to find £40 and I can buy one for £40 on ebay.......

£40 of new toys? (Probably get my DS's vote). Any recommendations.......?

I just bought a sun shade tent with the money I got for opening DD's savings account. Would that be useful in your garden/on holiday?

how about putting towards a highchair if you're thinking of getting one from Mothercare?
Clothes for winter? Which is your nearsest branch, some of the high street ones stock some ELC toys now.

Already got the Ikea highchair, and bought a sunshade in the sale last year (needless to say still unpacked! it's not a UV one though. Winter clothes a possibility as I haven't got any hand-me-downs over 12+ months.

My nearest shop does have the ELC department so maybe I choose something nice from there

Could you try to sell the vouchers to someone? You could then spend the £40 on an ebay playpen.

cheap lightweight stroller for holidays/days out? that was one of my best buys when dd was little.
