Unexpected cash...

Just found out that I will be getting a nice wee cheque that I didnt think I would. Approx £250 I think.

Now I've got it spend 100 times over.. Do I :

Put away into secret account, not tell dp about it - explaination, we are getting married in october, and I am trying to squirrel money away for surprises/extras on honeymoon (am SAHM)

Use it for a wee weekend away for dp's birthday in July

Go out and spend it on treats for us all (dp, ds(2) and I)

Stick it into either current account/wedding account and just forget about it.

Something else.

There are a few other things that we could do with - a new bed, a bloke to come and fix the garden, but I think most of these will be more than £250

Should add that we have enough money for day to day things, and wedding is paid for.

Agree, secret honeymoon account. Plan a lovely romantic surprise for your (then! ) DH and he will be thrilled.

Do you know where you're going on honeymoon? Maybe you can do a helicopter trip, or a private champagne evenign cruise or something?

We are going to nyc, so something like a helicopter trip would be great.

I have also booked a magician to do tricks after the ceremony as dp is mad on magic, but he doesnt know about it
