If you saw a man leave his two children in a buggy, parked outside a shop

Double buggy, children were about 3 and 1 in a P&T style buggy. The 3 year old could easily have got himself out of the buggy and wandered into the road.

Would you have said something?

MollieO, In our case our children can not open the straps (yet) I don't need to teach them anything. But I am on the look out for signs of having the strength to open the straps, which my oldest will do at some point.

I didn't say anything, didn't think it was my place. I did hover though and just kept an eye out.

I was just wondering what the general consensus was.

oh they don't need to know how to open the straps - DS3 showed me that in Morrisons on Sunday - becoming the first of my 3 children to escape from their pushchair (of course beuaitfully time so that I was juggling my purse and the packing the rest of the shopping at the same time)....

I must have looked like a right idiot - I didn't know what to do - had DS1 and 2 with me as well and I'm certain people thought I looked like a complete novice............ermm that's because I was
