..if you had spent the day doing f*** all, and felt like crap as a consequence.

I hate days like this! All I've actually done today is walked round to the neighbours' to drop something off, and cooked lunch. And got the children to put a few things away. The rest of the time has been spent sofa-bound, playing scrabble or on MN. I feel like a spare part. And still not a shred of bloody work has come in. Have done £200 worth in the last two months, which is beginning to worry me.

Write it off and resolve to get up next morning, put on clothes straight away and do something very productive like scrub the kitchen floor

And then go out somewhere.

God that would be fairly average for me! If you are being a pleasant person to be around for the kids etc, and everyone's fed, who cares?

You're obviously nowhere near as lazy as me!

Write a to do list for tomorrow and get cracking on it first thing in the morning.

Oh, and do something active tonight so that I felt tired by bedtime.

ProvincialLady- thankfully when I'm pregnant I rarely have trouble sleeping, but I do need to walk the dog. It seems to have stopped raining now, so I'll do that. It's a start! Have some sewing I could do this evening (am making a maternity skirt)

Oh you're pregnant! Well in that case, scratch everything. Sit on your behind for the rest of the evening and don't stir from the sofa tomorrow either!

Write a list of a few things to do tomorrow so you feel organised. Then feel free to ingore the list when the sun comes out .

TrillianAstra · 27/05/2009 19:05

Come to the Slatterns thread. Write a list of everything you do. Then even if you feel you have done very little you will be able to see the nice long list of jobs done and feel better.

('get dressed' counts as an item on a list by the way, 'feed children lunch' is definitely a worthy job)

TrillianAstra · 27/05/2009 19:06

It's here by the way.

duchesse · 27/05/2009 19:13

Pregnant, yes, but luckily very unaffected by any standard pregnancy woes- I'm not tired, not especially uncomfortable, no spd that doesn't respond well to a walk, not too big yet. Am just lazy!

Well, I went for the walk, which was nice. Hoping to get more done tomorrow.
