I think its worth the risk. the odds are so long that its worth a go surely?

Yes, definitely. Sounds like you produce a good number of eggs - good luck for the tubed side!

OracleInaCoracle · 27/05/2009 16:40

thanks. the odds of eggs travelling across are very slim indeed, alone all fertilizing and implanting!

Go for it, definitely.

I would bear in mind that some doctors think that the egg swaps sides up to 30% of the time (certainly in my last 3 documented pregnancies it did) but that would not stop me!

OracleInaCoracle · 29/05/2009 08:25

mrshappy, the nurse did tell me that, but i made a fairly impassioned and emotional speech (started crying) told her that i was aware of the risks, but we've been ttc for 3.5y now. ds put a baby brother on his xmas list. we've been through so much and the chances this month are better than ever. i cant ignore that!

Which is precisely why it wouldn't stop me! Hope it works out for you.

thank you.
