FIL getting married October, wedding is being held at a hotel.

We will have 3 DC, 4, 3 and 8 months old.

FIL booked a family room for us all to stay over the night of the wedding.

DH said 'lets not take the kids, we'll just go'

Which I thought FAB ... until the bride-to-be asks us to bring the kids, at least to the ceremony and dinner' because she REALLY wants all the kids there together.

So I say OK as well, what else can you say?.

But DH says we should just say no, were not bringing them as he is best man and that means I will be left with all 3 of them alone during most of that time whilst hes doing best man stuff.

WWYD?

I would leave the kids as previously planned and just say that you thought they might get tired and spoil the day or that they were really looking forward to spending time with whoever is looking after them.

I would leave them with a sitter - unless you have someone at the wedding to help you. dp was best man at a friends wedding last year, ds was not on good form and very clingy, I was not able to really enjoy myself until he'd gone to bed.

My mum has saidshe will have all 3, she has also said she will collect them after the meal, so thats not a problem.

Not really anyone to help as will only be SIL there I know & she will have a 4 month old & 2 yr old herself.
