Has anyone read her book - the girl has ishoos. Unfortunately she thinks were all as stupid as her... I think she falls pregnant three times is it?! She doesn't know how any of the times. Except really she does - but that would make her look bad so she couldn't admit that.

She has been quoted as calling the middle child "the mini Greek". Charming On one of the programmes I saw she had Harvey in the room while she did a semi nude photo shoot. I know he's blind, but what kind of environment is that for a child? They did an OK/Hello shoot while Princess was poorly, but still she had numerous costume and scene changes. She slagged off Jade Goody for publicity seeking! I mean she actually admits to slagging her off because at first "I thought she was publicity seeking". WTF WTF WTF!

I admire the fact that she has been very canny about making shed loads of money out of very little talent. (If you took away the surgery and the make up there wouldn't be much left to look at.) But that's where it ends. She has not done anything else that I admire her for....

I agree with all the people who think this will be, whether they reunite or stay apart, a massive money spinner for them.

think I read her 1st..........mum bought me the recent one for christmas......seemed to be the time my thoughts changed about her. I read a couple of pages..possibly chapter 1......never got any further. Couldn't stand her crudeness...every word seem to be about cocks, fanny's, shagging etc. No thanks....

Yes, money, and what it can buy.

Of course I don't think that money makes a good parent, but I believe she has given her children love and two parents and the best in life so far.

I've done the best I can, I like to think she has too and so far, from what I can see, on paper, she's done a better job than I have!

I've given my daughter not much financially, well nothing really, most of what we have is second hand.
We have a small rented house, nothing matches, DD's room is still decorated with Winnie the Pooh (she's 7)

DD only had school uniform and shoes that fit last year because MNetters gave it to me.

And the worst thing, I smoke, yup. Tobacco, it's cheap but I do. I hate it but I do it.
I've tried everything including Champix which made me throw up (am emetophobic) and yet I still smoke my rollies.

So see, perhaps Katie is a better Mum than me but still if anyone suggested DD should get away from me, I'd be heartbroken, and I'd know that they were not thinking of DD at all.

I bet Katies's kids want her, the same way that DD wants me. I bet she loves them and does her best, the same as I do.

The thought that anyone would think kids should get away from their parents unless they are abusive really bothers me.

On another issue, why does KP always say Harvey is 6?? He can't be because I remember her having him before I had dd1, who is 7. Seems odd......

I just think they are really bad at communicating with each other properly, probably cos they've always got a bloody camera in their face. Last night I watched last weeks 'Stateside' episode as have it on series link and he really was being quite rude to her.
I suspect she is very very insecure and worried that he will/would cheat on her, so she goes out flirting with other men/flashing fake boobs, etc to a) make herself feel better and b) show him that she is still desirable to other men.
What I think is sad now is that she has allegedly buggered off out of the country with The Mini Greek and Old Nose and left Pete at home with Harvey!

i think that's bonkers, mugglewump, but clearly you have your own issues about what you can provide. i'm proud to dress my children in hand-me-downs and charity shop finds and i hate matchy matchy stuff... it's actually to my taste not to follow the herd in that respect. you should give up smoking, though, i smoked for years, it's really pretty bogging.

i don't think it's appropriate for children to witness abuse, however, and i do think that she is an abusive partner to him. if the situation were reversed we wouldn't be expecting the mother to leave her kids, and from what i've seen he does most of the hands-on parenting so...

So now it transpires that he initiated the separation as he saw pictures of her in The Sun 'canoodling' with a bloke in a nightclub in Bristol. I think that's a bit immature - the photos only came out in yesterday morning's papers, and the news of the split was about 3ish? They can't have even had a chance to talk about things properly? God, if there were photos of me on every night out I'd had, I'd be hung drawn and quartered!!! By that I mean that sometimes things (photos) are not what they seem.......

I agree blondissimo he knew right form the start that she has that 'Jordan' persona that she has to play up to, whether people approve or not. Lets face it, it has made them a hell of alot of money.

Those pictures are obviously all for the press she has had worse in the past, so find it hard to believe that they were 'the final straw'

tbh I don't know which one of them is the more dimwitted and more pathetic. I agree with other posters who say they are well suited. They are cartoon characters, after all. She even looks like Jessica rabbit, with those inflated plastic tits of hers.

I'm not a fan of Jordan but am drawn to the TV programme if it's on when I'm channel hopping. I watched last week's when they had the horrible, snipy, vicious "argument" in the shop. I had always viewed Peter Andre as quite a benign nob but how he talked to Jordan was nasty, really nasty. There was such a prolonged, tortuous build-up to it too.

Of course there were the usual snidy, provocative digs by Jordan. And the guy in the shop was an arse, and they were imprisoned in there by the paparazzi (although I thought they would LOVE the fact that the paparazzi was that interested in them) - boy it was tense.

When Peter Andre verbally unleashed the venom he obviously had for Jordan (and maybe has had for a while and has hidden very well for the cameras) Jordan's face was so dead and passive (yeah, I know, nothing new there!). I don't know whether this had happened often in their relationship - we've seen many heated arguments before but this was exceptionally ugly. Perhaps this is the reaction she wants to get out of men all the time - perhaps this is what she builds up to - she wants them to fulfill her warped experience of men as perverts or monsters. Well she certainly got that out of Peter Andre because he looked a nasty piece of work.

I was looking forward to seeing next week's programme because I could never in a million years see how they could come back from such an ugly, vicious scene. Of course I will be joined by considerably more viewers for next week's programme in the light of this latest "news". If this IS a cynical marketing ploy then they really are scraping the s**t from the bottom of the barrel (not exactly a first for them)

I don't think it is a marketing ploy - I just think that Peter has genuinely had enough with her and that seeing those pictures in the paper made him flip.
My impression is that deep down he is a really nice loving guy, but that in his lack of confidence and desperation to be as popular as his wife, he ends up being a right knob and totally embarrassing himself! I mean all his Austin Powers "Dr.Evil" impressions are just so 10 years ago and soooooo cringeworthy! If I was Katie I think I would get a bit fed up with all that too! He tries too hard - and she doesn't try enough.

Just reading a few 'news' items about the 'divorce' (saddo emoticon). It appears that neither of them really 'know' why they are divorcing and appear to have not discussed it as she is now abroad and he is at home with Harvey and the Nanny. 'I loves him, I do'..says Katie ah well same old same old..lights, camera, action...
