...would you choose to spend it on petrol to drive somewhere nice to spend the afternoon with your daughter who you hadn't seen for 3 years and your grandchildren, two of whom you haven't seen for 3 years and two of whom you've never even met?

Or would you spend it on a round or two of golf? Or a night out?

Apparently him and my step-mother are too poor to pay for the petrol. I totally accept they've been hit very hard by the recession as he runs his own business securing funding for business start-ups and expansions.

But.......lots of proud status updates from step-mother saying 'just off for a round of golf'.
