The older girls are gorgeous!

georgimama · 03/04/2009 13:42

Congratulations to them, but what a ridiculous name.

I can only imagine they let the other two choose it.

georgimama · 03/04/2009 13:45

God, the eldest two are so grown up! They can't be more than about 6 and 5 though, surely?

And that article is wrong, she didn't have IVF. I have her book. She was on Clomid.

georgimama · 03/04/2009 13:46

7 and 5. She is very tall for 7, or is it just me?

yappybluedog · 03/04/2009 13:48

she is tall, but then her mum is too

both girls are lovely

MakemineaGandT · 03/04/2009 13:48

Ahhhhhh...congratulations to the Olivers

Crazy sickly pink and fluffy name though. Nails on a blackboard to my ears I'm afraid.......

gagamama · 03/04/2009 23:28

Wow, the older two are stunning little things aren't they! The eldest does look tall for 7 but then again she is standing on a step.

The baby is cute too but not a fan of the name. Bet Jamie is regretting saying he wanted a boy!

Tidey · 03/04/2009 23:33

I like flower names generally, Poppy and Daisy are both lovely, but Petal sounds like an affectionate nickname along the same lines as 'sweetie'. I don't like it.

Northernlurker · 03/04/2009 23:36

Aaaaaah! Three girls is very cool

Have to say I was fairly appalled by the name when I opened the thread but now it's sort of growing on me - it's cheerful at least!

hester · 03/04/2009 23:37

I know an adult Petal. Not a woman you'd mess with.

EightiesChick · 03/04/2009 23:40

They could have gone for Lily if they wanted to stick with the flower theme...

Yes, I seem to remember that Jools said they had tried for a third at least partly because Jamie was 'desperate' for a boy. They will regret that getting out now. Wonder if this means they will go for a fourth?

I did like Jools's book a lot, though I was at her getting pregnant when Poppy was only 3 months old. Not the way I'd want to do it, though I guess that is much easier if you are well-off enough to buy help in. And not, of course, that I imagine she regrets any of the girls coming along...but a 1 year old and a newborn sounds hellish to me.

Its typical that the title of that article is about jules being back in her skinny jeans straight away! Its nice to see a sleb whos not arsed about being pictured still looking pregnant though. (she does have fab legs though mine were nothing like that after having number three!!!)

SobranieCocktail · 04/04/2009 09:09

Awwww

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2009 09:11

I didn't even know she was pregnant. I quite like the name

compo · 04/04/2009 09:13

god I hate themed family names
why call all your children something flowery fgs

chequersmate · 05/04/2009 19:32

Why is the article about her being back in her skinny jeans? Yeah, her skinny maternity jeans

Beautiful kids though.
