aha we finally meet ! yes its all very sad tnog,i will probably get to go up with him soon before its too late, but for now i think she would prefer to see her immediate family.I am only a sis in law.i have sent up a card this mornin to say i am thinking of her ,not much i could write ,i didnt have the words. But forever the optomist maybe they have got it wrong and she can be here longer.I dont know tnog, life is hard sometimes isnt it.

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:14

It is hard, hard to make sense of it all sometimes but being optomistic is good and just doing the best you can with what you have is vital.

Not easy though.

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:15

dh was really sad last night ,but once he was with us all out to dinner our gd,s cheered him up ,and gd no 2 gave him a bright green bangle to wear, and when he got up thi mornin there it was on his wrist ,he forgot he had it on ,i also have one,its stunning !!![ not ]

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:17

are you working today ?

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:18

you'll have to keep the bangles on forever

My niece made me a friendship bracelet when she was about 5 and anytime we visit or she visits here I have to have it on my wrist.

She's 9 now.

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:19

I am, M.

11am - 1pm, then lots of clearing up and trying to get ontop of housework.

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:20

i think she got about ten of them from primark for £1 so you can se how great they are ,but she gave them to us lovingly .yes i will have to wear it now and again when in her company or she will be upset .they are more like an elastic band

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:22

i am going to have my hair done at 11,or should i say my apt is 11 but i never get it done till about 1 as she is always putting me off to do someone elses,in the meantime i feed her baby and change nappies !

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:23

So sweet that she gave one to her grandad, she must love him hugely.

He's very lucky to have all that love and that'll carry through this difficult phase.

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:24

That's hilarious that you look after the hairdressers baby.

Very unusual

Is the baby feeding a bit better now?

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:24

i need to get it coloured but as we are goin on holiday in april i will leave it till a couple of weeks before we go.But there is a doubt about the hol at the moment we arent sure what to do re cancelling it.we are going with two of my brothers,my mum and sis in law and a friend

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:25

That's a toughy isn't it?

You'll just have to play it by ear I guess.

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:27

oh yes gd no 2 is grandads clingon !! we all laugh at her ,she loves him immensly and it shows. My hairdresser is now a friend so its a bi different, she has a lot of probs and always chats about them on wednesdays ,its funny because if my family want me they ring the salon.eeven my mum has come in for a cup of tea there ! and her dd goes to the same theatre school that gd goes to.

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:29

well it is because my mum dosen lke staying in a room on her own after an incidence in gran canaria ,we were there with my brother and sis in law [ dh stayed home ] and had onl been in bed about an hpour when she woke me up terrified sayin someone was breaking in

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:30

It sounds like that movie, can't remember the name of it...you know the one....argggh

it centres around a hair salon and the women who frequent it and their friendship....

OH GOD!

it'll probably come to me during the class and I'll shout it out and give them all a fright.

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:31

Oh, janey, and was someone breaking in?

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:31

when i listened,it was obvioyus whatit was ,some couple above us doing what comes naturally !!! of course there are no carpets on the floor and it was very noisy ,i laughed so much but it scared her at the time ,now i always share with her and dh shares with one of my brothers,or gs whoever is with us,it also saves on getting a single room supplement and its usually for only a week so it dosent matter at all

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:33

and on that holiday dh was meant to meet us when we flew back into gatwick , was so lookin forward to seeing hem ,anyway when we arrived i couldnt see him and thought he was around somewhere, evenually i phoned him and the conversation went like this

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:34

Ah, God love her.

That would be scary.

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:35

me " where are you "
dh " at home just putting my shoes on "
me " you better be f-g joking"
dh " no i somehow switched the alarm off "
i was furious ,my poor mum was so tired,it was 4am and we were stuck there till he drove up there.he said he went like a bat out of hell.I have never been so angry in my life.

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:37

it roughly takes about 2 hrs from here but he did it in just over an hour !now i can look back and laugh about it ,but didnt see anything funny at the time !we often talk about the time he "forgot" me that was about 5 yrs ago now

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:38

There's nothing worse than getting off a flight and expecting to be met, only to find they're not there and you're left standing.

Nightmare.

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:41

i was upset as well because i had really missed him ,it was the first time i had been away without him and was thinking on the flight home ,ill see hm soon !!!! not as soon as i thought though. My mum is funny ,all m brothers have invited her to go on holiday and she wont go ,butif i go as well she will,so this holiday may be a problem.

Tn0g · 11/03/2009 09:42

i remember getting off a flight from Corfu, years and years ago, jaded tired and expecting my dad to be there as pre-arranged.

Anyway, no dad.

Had to make return call [no punts on me, before euro, anyway] to find out he was out on golf course and had to wait for him to finish his bloody game.

I have never, ever forgiven him.

mummylin2495 · 11/03/2009 09:42

because if dh cant go because of the circumstances ,I will stay home with him
