Is that Circle.... strange word.

Have it spelt it properly?

I did some tidying today

shoved and heaped clothes into drawers/hotpress and wadrobes

Used sweepy feet on floor in the hall and used sleeve of jumper to dust around things

wotzy · 03/03/2009 17:50

Like your housework style there Tnog. I sneezed over the desk and that shifted some papers off too. Im making a fish pie. DDs are not interested in eating it, I can tell.

Tn0g · 03/03/2009 18:01

It's funny that you mentioned fish pie.

I'm thinking I should start being more creative in the kitchen and pies sprang to mind.

I've even defrosted some ready-made puff pastry.

wotzy · 03/03/2009 18:10

I'm using ready made (deforsted) shortcrust pastry. Tis so easy. The fish looks yummy, so I will let you know later, if it was ok.

Tn0g · 03/03/2009 18:14

Yes do, Wotzy.

Shortcrust is what I wanted but could only find puff

I'm thinking of just heaping all the leftovers into a big dish and covering it all up with the pastry..half an hour in oven and, et voila

wotzy · 03/03/2009 18:15

Well I must be mad Tnog, because I thought it was shortcrust but it is puff. It is in the oven puffing up now. The packet says puff. Spooky.

Tn0g · 03/03/2009 18:17

OMG

Too weird but also very comforting

wotzy · 03/03/2009 18:19

Sounds good. What leftovers though?

I used milk (thickened with butter/flour) to make up the sauce and added some single cream salt and pepper. I expect that is fattening. But i don't care. I used all my left over veg like green beans, peas and some broccoli.

I rolled the pastry into a long string and made a fish shape on the top and added a ball for the add and some more pastry balls like bubbles. Of course!

wotzy · 03/03/2009 18:19
Grin
Tn0g · 03/03/2009 18:21

You did not decorate it Wotzy

Did you??

Leftovers because we have so much and I'm not binning good food anymore.

I'm trying to be less wastefull

wotzy · 03/03/2009 18:24

Yes I did decorate it

I may take a pic of it later too [extra smug emotcion]

yes left overs her too

Tn0g · 03/03/2009 18:25

Right I best be off.

Your pie sounds delish, Wotzy.

Hopefully the girls will think so too.

Wish me luck with my own offering.

Tn0g · 03/03/2009 18:25

I can't wait to see pic.

wotzy · 03/03/2009 20:31

I did take a pic, I will post sometime in a day or so.

mummylin2495 · 03/03/2009 21:13

mummylin2495 · 03/03/2009 21:41
Tn0g · 04/03/2009 09:33

Feline, come back and chat.

I'm feeling just a little bit bad for laughing at your posts, I mean, there's some serious stuff going on with you isn't there?

I'm also a little bit pissed off too.

This thread is good, it's an outlet, somewhere to post drivel and joke and fool around, it's where cyber friends meet and re-charge their batteries a bit like Costa without the Lattes.

Nobody's going to get all chippy [ 'cept me ] or pedantic [ 'cept me ] or churlish [ 'cept wotzy ]

So, Mr. Feline >

Stick that in yer pipe and smoke it!

Hope you get help with regard the suicidal tendencies. < worried I may have tipped you over the edge with my hips and stare now >

Tn0g · 04/03/2009 10:02

The pissed of bit is because your dh is twisting your mind not because I'm pissed off...I'm in a good mood.

The sun is shining here, I've already had an early morning walk with Molly [ I adore this dog, she's the perfect companion on a long coastal walk ] I managed one half of my skirt last night and...well, I'm just in a good mood.

wotzy · 04/03/2009 10:14

Molly such a lucky wucky doggy woggy.

Yes we need to vent. I think we decided long ago we that we couldn't actually solve any problems here. Just offer a VL place to rant and let off steam and sometimes waffle on and on and on and on and on and on.

mummylin2495 · 04/03/2009 10:15

oh well done tnog,i hope you havent sewed the bottom together so you cant get your legs out ! thats what i would probably do going by my track record ! Off to have my hair done and baby sit today but will be over my dd,s tonight so will use her comp to maybe catch you and have a chat.

mummylin2495 · 04/03/2009 10:19

you are right wotz ,we cant solve anything ,but it sure helps to be able to talk things over with other people who arent going to judge anyone.I can see no reason why anyone can possibly object to getting different perpspectives to lifes daily problems etc.I have always thought it is best not to bottle things up as they fester away inside you and grow into things much bigger eventually.Anyway,me personally ? i love chatting to you all,and yes i do see you as my friends.Feline , you are in all of our thoughts.

wotzy · 04/03/2009 10:54

People used to write letters and keep diaries (I have one) to vent into. Now we have Facebook, blogs and of course MN.

wotzy · 04/03/2009 12:05

Here are notes from last weeks diary

'monday - after dinner I went on MN'
'tuesday - had breakfast went on MN for a bit'
'wednesday had to visit RL, didn't like it much so I came back in checked email and found a message from MNhq, with a linnk to MN'

and so on.....

Tn0g · 04/03/2009 16:10

Hey, good diary entries , wotzy.

Rivetting stuff.

You are like the Adrian mole of MN.

Wotzy aged 43 and 3/4.

Have I knocked 2 years off your age?
