Is that Circle.... strange word.

Have it spelt it properly?

You didn't sprain your foot did you?

I thought he only wore them for gardening/painting in

I made braces for G using brightly coloured ribbon and sewed patches on them using old hankies and he wore an old corsage of mine on a stripy Tshirt.

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 21:57

sounds a great costume ,no havent sparined it ,its panful on the bottom where my foot slipped on the front of the stair, but never mind it could of been worse.

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 21:58

see if you had used my idea of staples ,your dh wouldntof had anything to moan at

Tn0g · 20/02/2009 21:58

it might be bruised.

You were lucky, M, were you alone in the house?

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:00

my dd has a fascination for clowns ,especially pirot [ sp ] that is the one clown i dont like at all ,when she was small she had clown quilt cover, clown curtains, everything clown and even now if i see a nice one i buy it for her.

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:01

no dh was downstairs but he didnt even hear me when i swore ! fat lot of good he was

Tn0g · 20/02/2009 22:01

lol

It ws quite funny when he realised.

He was filming through the camcorder and he sort of stopped, peered and then glared at me.

Hissed 'they're my best fucking trousers!'

I just ignored him and continued smiling and clapping.

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:02

and for her 21st birthday ,she had a clown cake ,it was done beautifully by someone who specialises in celebration cakes

Tn0g · 20/02/2009 22:03

oh god, he's no use is he?

what was he doing, having a doze?

you could have been dead.

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:03

i think thats hilarious,i wonder what was going through his mind when the penny dropped wher they had come from

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:05

he was stretched outon the settee in the conservatory where he watches all his sport, we are very rarely together in the evenings unless we both want to watch the same programme,we only see each other in passing unless he is on his comp which is in the same room that mine is

Tn0g · 20/02/2009 22:06

I think he was very annoyed, M

< understatement >

I'll have to remind him about that later...

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:07

well what were you supposed to do ,i probably would of done the same thing ,very inventive actually, cause you had the basics there to start with !

Tn0g · 20/02/2009 22:08

Dh and I are like ships in the night once G's gone to bed.

although he's recently been hovering around me a lot which I find very annoying.

Tn0g · 20/02/2009 22:10

Exactly, M.

I was under pressure, the child needed a costume, the trousers fitted the bill.

Dh has a tendency to be overly possessive and dramatic about things.

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:11

i would find it annoying too ,i like to be free to do what i want without any hassle,i dont think i could be a wife that worked all day with my dh ,then spent all my other time with him as well ,it would drive me crazy

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:13

i actually like my own company sometimes ,i feel very relaxed and dont have to keep listening to him wittering on about what i call stupid things [ mostly to do with sport ]

Tn0g · 20/02/2009 22:13

It is hard, M.

Much harder than we both thought it would be.

It's difficult using the house as a workshop too especially for G.

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:16

you are braver than me tnog ,i know i would have to kll him.I just couldnt stand it ,i have a very independant streak and stubborn i my middle name ,i laso like things done my way and when i want them done whereas dh ,takes his time about doing anything ,just that would drive me mad.

Tn0g · 20/02/2009 22:19

tBh, mostly we're ok and somehow it works fine, but some days are not so good and then you feel like throwing in the towel.

I'm more laid back than dh so I drive him crackers, he can be very anal which I play on and he's very easy to wind up - like a clockwork toy.

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:21

i also am very quick to get wound up ,most of my family say things to me which i jump right in ,then find they have done it on purpose.if i have to do something i get on and do it,dh will say he is going to do something and a week later he still hasnt done it ,which annoys me ,i would rather he didnt say he would do it in the first place

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:22

as you may have guessed i am very impatient

Tn0g · 20/02/2009 22:22

ultimately I don't think either of us like having to teach to supplement our lifestyle.

Dh does a fair few commissions which keeps the big money rolling in and he also does some illustrating on some poetry magazines which is regular reliable money

i think he'd like to see me pull my weight a bit more.

Tn0g · 20/02/2009 22:24

Patience is a virtue as my mother would say.

I think it's good to be different within a relationship, yin and yang.

mummylin2495 · 20/02/2009 22:27

but if you are doing the same as you have always done ,you cant really change now can you .I dont work but that is why i now take in students,it means i can stay at home but still earn some money.i dont always like having people in my home, but if i want to take students i have to put up with that.I do miss my privacy when they are here ,thigslike if i need touse the loo in the night ,i would normally just get up and go ,with students here i have to stop andput a dressing gown on and little things like that
