ABloke · 19/02/2009 13:18

Ummm okay, so I read this thread yesterday and tried Wotzs friends tactic last night.

I said it twice, this was met by "why are you picking on me"? then tears, then he printed off local council homless section.

Non, je ne regret.......la la la

Its tough Abloke ,but i would never presume to advise anyone to stay or to go,its not my choice to make ,you are the only one who can decide what the future holds for you and your OH.I hope between you you can work out what is the best for you all as a family.
Have put two pics of my blanket i am making on here ,still have about 30 edges to do so that will be about another ft and a half on each side.its taking a long time to get each side done now its getting so big ,but it keeps my legs warm while i am doing it

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 14:19

i forgot to say that after i logged out of here last night i slipped on the stairs ! it was my own fault , had no shoes on and didnt bother to put the light on either ,i banged my face, ear and shoulder on the wooden bit halfway down the stairs ,expected to have some bruises today but i am fine.

ABloke · 19/02/2009 14:55

Oh Dear M, that doesn't sound too good (falling/stairs)

When you ahve finished your blankets you are doing may I request one.

I may need it for when i move to seaside and live alone with animals.... Which I am hoping is a bit of time away so.......

Umm CC made a joke around 3 weeks ago regarding Tea, Twinings Tea, I just got the joke last night in bed.

Tn0g · 19/02/2009 20:43

You'll have to spell out the tea joke to me, are you sure she wasn't just being cryptic?

Sorry CC if you're lurking, I don't mean that in a horrible way < shut up, Blokey, I can hear you from here >>

M, you ok?

Did you're heart jump when you stumbled?

My db pushed me down the stairs once when I was about 14, I sort of slipped sideways and did the splits.

He nearly pissed himself laughing.

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 20:49

yes im fine ,but it did bloody hurt when i did it !

Tn0g · 19/02/2009 20:49

you poor thing

are you badly bruised?

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 20:50

no i dont have any bruises which i am most surprised about ,could of been worse though and it was my own fault.Has your kit come today

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 20:51

did you have a look at my blanket ?

Tn0g · 19/02/2009 20:52

No, the kit hasn't arived and I'm kind of thinking it's a bit mad to spend all that money on something that will look like a potato sack when I've finished with it

Tn0g · 19/02/2009 20:53

WOW!

I'm impressed, it's lovely.

Are you very proud?

I would be.

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 20:55

i will be when its finished,i get a bit impatient when it takes me so long to do one side now its so big ,but i will be gald when i have finished it ,then i can start on the next one,im sure your skirt will be fine ,there isnt much you can do wrong with it is there ?

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 20:57

you only have two edges ,a hem ,and the waistband, you will be fine [ says she who would probably put waistband on the bottom by mistake ]

Tn0g · 19/02/2009 20:57

you wanna bet?

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 20:58

its only me that cant swe surely ? is it already cut out for you as well ?

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 20:58

see i cant even write the word

Tn0g · 19/02/2009 20:58

yeah, you make it sound so simple.

I'm not very, erm... logical and get easily frustrated so it could start getting a leeetle bit stressful.

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 20:59

have you got to do it by hand ? i would probably staple it together !

Tn0g · 19/02/2009 20:59

I bloody hope so.

It must be.

They'd have to cut it out first surely be to God

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 21:00

i even get any cotton in a knot when i want to sew on a button

Tn0g · 19/02/2009 21:00

THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!

Stapling!!

you are a genius

mummylin2495 · 19/02/2009 21:01

well if its not you will have the pattern so you will only have to pin the pattern to it then cut round it
