mummylin2495 · 18/02/2009 19:01

isnt cabbage leaves meant to help with pain ?

wotzy · 18/02/2009 19:23

yes the large dark green cabbage leaves - DD cup works

wotzy · 18/02/2009 19:29

Well FIL is back home, all is well considering the op he had.
And he looks fine and dandy, what a relief.
Skimmed over with dds, why FIL had a big bandage on his neck and wrists and explained he was a bit poorly and it went ok. We all visited him this afternoon and hi was very tired but Ok. DH has stopped biting his nails.

mummylin2495 · 18/02/2009 19:34

glad to hear that wotz, all sounds very straightforward thank god .easier to explain to the kids now for you ,right off to get something to eat ,back later

sparklesandwine · 18/02/2009 20:24

glad all is (kind of) ok Wotz

M yes i have had it many times before, 7 with ds3 and this is second time with dd2

dp has just come home with chips from the chippy, bless him

see you later

wotzy · 18/02/2009 21:08

Can I just say how I adore my dsd.
She is lovely and clever and applied for her Master of Arts degree, and is also freelancing. Fingers crossed. Approx 400 applicants, only 40 places.

wotzy · 18/02/2009 21:12

Where be tnog?
Has she gone off walking in those funny trainers again?

Sparkles, enjoy the chippy food.

Thanks ml, yes glad that that passed. We will see if FIL now gives up his smoking habbit.

Tn0g · 18/02/2009 21:19

Sparkles, tis lousy for you, mastitis is horrible.

One thing I found which helped ease the mastitis pain was a fairly hot flannel applied to inflamed breast, very gentle downward motion toward nipple to help ease blockage.

Ultimately, unfortunately, ab's were the only answer, but as you've been through this before I guess you already know that.

Good news, Wotz, that your fil is home now. Hopefully he'll go from strength to strength.

M, skirt kit hasn't arrived yet.

If you're interested to see what it should [!] look like, go to Clothkits website and it's in the grown-up section...dark magenta trellick skirt.

Tn0g · 18/02/2009 21:21

wotzy · 18/02/2009 21:21

Tn0g · 18/02/2009 21:22

I've donated the MBTs to my mother.

She can trot around the block in them with her friend Betty, on their daily powerwalk.

Tn0g · 18/02/2009 21:24

Attention seeking? >>

wotzy · 18/02/2009 21:25

I had a look at the site, will have to return to check that one out. Just done that. Im glad its that one (very nice) and not the one with the birds holding a bell with strings on the front that looks like a dangling penis!

wotzy · 18/02/2009 21:27

I donated a pair of M&S bronze pumps (not my colour, must have had a senior moment when purchasing them in Chester) to my mother, how odd!

Tn0g · 18/02/2009 21:28

wotzy · 18/02/2009 21:33
