Apparently Christian Bale had a major rant on the set of Terminator Salvation when the director of photography accidentally interrupted his scene. You can listen to it here. Warning though - Its pretty intense and the language isn't pretty!

Shame because I really liked him after he did American Psycho. I thought he was very good in that. He doesn't sound Welsh at all. Sounds a bit Cockney every now and again but I couldn't hear any Welsh.

I've read a few people defending him on the net, saying he's a real perfectionist and he gets totally immersed in the character blah blah blah, but come of it! Its not fecking brain surgery! I can understand him maybe having a bit of a go at the guy but not to that extent. And not for that length of time either.

oh god no - I loved my dad but in Christian bale I can really hear that controlled and measured tone my dad had, the ranting when we'd done something wrong, the heightened sense of importance, the sense that he feels he is so right and needs to educate the wrong doer. Classic controlling person. Bet deep down he knew he was being a tit though.

Had a good relationship with my dad in later years (he died in 2000) but he could be a git, a controlling git.

He doesn't sound all that bright, he sounds incredibly self centred and actually like he is really enjoying himself berating this poor person. Total bully.

I pity his wife.

Wasn't there some story recently where he had a fight with his mother and sister? Not much was made of it, but I'm sure it was him. The police were called and he'd been rowing agressively or however they put it with them.

No, no one should shag him or want to shag him he is bonkers, what's that about attacking his mother and sister? Maybe not true but he seems beyond bonkers. Also he has weirdy teeth/mouth ratio - go on deny that you Bale-lovers - it's weird!

Just listened to the thread though, and actually he sounds demented but it's appalling that the DP or whatever carried on talking to him, the director should have taken the irritant off set and diffused the whole thing. Sounds like no one was in charge and that's when everything falls to pieces.
