Sarah Kennedy - she's a rude old bat isn't she?

Talking about a picture of Brangalina in the paper she said she couldn't "help but to laugh", Brad and Ange were carrying a twin each and he other children "looked like a zoo". .

She's repulsive. She always used to go on about her knickers as well. A 50-odd yr old woman's pants are just not what anyone wants to be thinking of over their ReadyBrek.

I tell you, not that I are either, you understand. It stands for 'Steve Wrights' because he's the only DJ that reads out the part of the letters that tell him how great him and his show is. So by reading out 'sw's' she's letting people know that her 3 listeners thnk she's great too.

I started a thread about her in radio topic yesterday saying much the same thing. She always talks and only plays one tune , the showtime one. The rest of it is all "me,me,me"

She got into a lot of trouble a couple of years ago for accusing the people who bought her house of stealing from her because they wouldnt pay for the oil she had left in the tank!!!

I was a bit shocked by that comment too.

And I bristled last week when she commented on Charlotte Churchs' new baby and said how lucky she was to have one of each. As a mum of 2 boys I feel incredibly lucky thankyou very much.

She's just barmy really isn't she? All she does is come in read the papers, play a few records and say: "Ooh I can't say I've ever heard of him before, is he new?" When it's Elvis or someone unbelievably famous.

Am I the only one who gets secretly very excited when I wake up and find that she's called in sick and Aled Jones is replacing her? THAT'S how bad she is.

Our clock radios are tuned into R2, and they have snooze buttons, that count down until the snooze time is only 2 mins, and each time it comes on again she is talking. One day DH didn't press snooze,and she talked for 12 minutes non stop!
She talks shite as well, none of it makes sense, and one day, a couple of years ago, she was really rambling and sounding as though she was drunk and the BBC said she was ill.
I like it when Aled is on though, he's better than her!

That was the comment that had dh he said anyone else would have been in deep bother - i think shes just a bit barmy like a barmy old cat woman.

She's a Class A Fruitloop.
Always talks over music, inane twaddle about her blardy cats, never knows anybody famous, always on about her days in Singapore/Burma/Wherever, rude & insensitive. And recently needed to be told how to pronounce "Meh" - she was saying "May".

We only have alarm clock tuned to R2 so that we actually get up = she is enough to get us out of bed to turn her waffle off!

She's a character though, and there aren't many of those on TV or the radio these days. Aled Jones is blander than bland. At least when SK is on you can go to work and say 'Did you HEAR what that daft bint said this morning???'

Barmy old cat woman is spot on - I bet she has one of those cardigans with cats on that you can buy from the back pages of Sunday supplements.

I've been waiting for this thread. has anyone else noticed waht a bloody whinging hypochondriac she is? we have radio 2 on over breakfast (we're an hour ahead out here) and DH and I take bets on who whinges the most about inconsequential illnesses - her or the 3 DCs (they have never beaten her yet, and by god have they tried). And she is a flipping compulsive name dropper of boring people when she's not wittering on about how famous she used to be

why the hell do we listen??? no idea

Believe it or not, there are two facebook groups dedicated to Sarah Kennedy - 'We love Sarah Kennedy' and 'What the f* is Sarah Kennedy doing on the radio'!! There are some very, very funny comments on both.
