Apparently he's been admitted to hospital now with pneumonia after having chemo for pancreatic cancer.

The part of the interview with him and his wife is very emotional - just to warn you all. They've been married 33 years!!

It's one of those things you hear then they die, isn't it. Hopefully not & he makes a good recovery.

He's stopping the treatment know, so he can 'die with his boots on' ...

God he looks so thin in that interview.

I loved Patrick Swuzzle in North and South and in The Outsiders.

My aunt died of pancreatic cancer, it is just so sad.

He is just lovely. I hope he can bounce back from this bout of pneumonia and be around for a while longer.
