sparklesandwine · 12/01/2009 13:47

i don't like the rain

its cold too [brrrr]

sparklesandwine · 12/01/2009 13:48

an auntie is as good

will you have lots of opportunities to go round for a cuddle?

Craggy · 13/01/2009 07:57

Unfortunately no. They live lots of miles away. They have not even contacted us. My OH text-ed/called what seemed like around 50 people. waking them all up in the process.

I showed M pics of my little girl, she can show them to you.

It's not a REAL girl, but very nice.

more sad news just recieved ,my aunty [ my mums lifelong friend] died late last night .Another bit of my childhood gone.It has been expected for a while really but it dosent make it any less sad today.Strangely my friend had a new grandchild yesterday at lunchtime ,so it must be true that a new life comes and an old one goes.

OP posts:
sparklesandwine · 13/01/2009 13:46

oh M that is sad for you, there seems to have been so much sad news for you over the last year

i do agree with you about new life coming when an old one goes

mummylin2495 · 13/01/2009 14:38

yes sparkles there are a lot of people i have had to say goodbye to since last april when there were 3 deaths in 4 days ,and one of them if you remember was one of my childhood friends. Since then there have been others[ on dh,s side too] and now there have been two more in about 3 weeks ,stepfather on the 20th and now the latest last night.will be sad for my poor mum asshe lives opposite my aunt and will always be looking across the road for her.All very sad.

it must be hard for your mum, i'm sure she has many friends around her who will help her and comfort her

mummylin2495 · 13/01/2009 15:58

well mum is cooking dinner for us tonight as she prefers to home cook than go to carvery ,i asked her if she wanted to cancel it ,but she said no. maybe its better that way because she has something to do rather than dwell on it today.

mummylin2495 · 15/01/2009 13:41

Sorry M, lets hope it is upwards and onwards, or onwards and upwards.

Too early to think.

xx

FelineFine · 16/01/2009 07:33

God that sounds awful.

It's not just onwards/upwards is it ?

You have had to cope with too many deaths in the past few years.

speak soon

FelineFine · 16/01/2009 07:45

Hope you all okay.

I wasn't going to post. I had [in my mind] left... for good, for no reason other than, nope I have no idea.

x is very very stressful just now OW has turned out to actually be okay(ish), I have just taken the leadand delegate anything I cannot do in my time, to her, so that's fine.

Bosswitch is asking too much of me but hey-ho, perhaps I NEED to be stretched to my full potential.

Either that or I shall end up in loony bin, either way I will be fine.

As long as it is warm.

Right, must feed animals.
