ml - how do you find the time to do it all?

I have less time now I'm not here. I am drinking far less though. I think MN drove me to drink sometimes.

mummylin2495 · 26/01/2009 11:17

when are you going on holiday wotz ? We are going over to Germany in may for a long weekend as one of our young students is going to be confirmed, her parents have invited us to stay with them as a surprise for their daughter who has had a bad few months health wise. Not that we will understand any of the service as its Roman Catholic and it will be in German !But we have said we will go.

lol at xmas tree

Germany sounds nice. I've not been there. You'd bette save up with the pound falling against the Euro.

Wotzy · 26/01/2009 11:32

Might go for a short break in half term, or a long weekend in March/ April. I have been looking around. I don't think we have any 'big' plans for this year.

mummylin2495 · 26/01/2009 11:33

well its actually not that expensive ,dh found two flights from stansted which are only £88 for the two of us and we dont have to book a hotel as we will stay in their home. But we will have to pay airport parking as its quite a way from where we live ,but it will be a good experience.

i have to be careful because my bookings for this years students are coming in ,we would like a holiday in April with some of the family but we will see any little break is good i think. And i think we are lucky compared to some who never have a holiday at all.We have never met her parents but i did actually speak to them on web cam two days ago ,it was a bit strange but very nice.

Wotzy · 26/01/2009 11:41

Get you at using a web cam.
I can't bring myself to do that. Makes me go all odd.

We might camp this year. Just go when the weather looks nice, lakes or somewhere.

Wotzy · 26/01/2009 11:46

I'll check in later. Must get on now, nice to catch up with you ml.

sparklesandwine · 26/01/2009 14:40

i don't know what to say tnog but i hope the karma man comes your way soon and helps you find a way to get through things

i'm sure G will be ok he's nearly a teenager and at this age they are usually so self-absorbed with their own lives, looks and how unfair everything is that he may not even notice anyway....

sparklesandwine · 26/01/2009 14:44

DD1 is causing me concern healthwise

she had to have blood tests done last week

i initially thought she may be aneamic

but i'm worried/paranoid it may be something else......i'm sure she'll be fine....

mummylin2495 · 26/01/2009 14:50

hi sparkles, sorry to hear that ne of your d,s has something wrong ,hopefully will turn out to be only minor if anything at all.

OP posts:
mummylin2495 · 26/01/2009 14:53

i was just checking that dh,s flight has taken off !should be home indoors here in about an hour and a half i think.

OP posts:
sparklesandwine · 26/01/2009 15:00

also i'm sorry i'm not about much on here

i like to catch up with everyone more but i feel i'm never about when everyone else is, i'm too busy in the morning too tired in the evening....i can only usually catch about an hour a day on here at the moment....

i wish i had more time to myself to do what i wanted to do but i don't....i barely have time to wee and when i do there is usually someone following me into the loo

its hard

and if i did come on here more i think i'd moan

or cry

but i love my children so i carry on

mummylin2495 · 26/01/2009 15:02

you have a busy life sparkles and there are only so many hours in the day, obviously ,your family come first.I only had tWo children and i thought that was hard work and you have nearly 3 times that !!!

OP posts:
Wotzy · 26/01/2009 18:21

Understand the thought process there sparkles at 'so I carry on'. Very true. I have my sister coming here Friday. I haven't seen her for over a year since her DH came on to me when I visited them (I didn't mention that here as it was very upsetting at the time). No she doesn't know. Yes I can move on. No, I haven't told her because her whole life would shatter in tiny fragments around her and she wouldn't cope. So, just wanted to share that, I feel slightly better for getting that off my chest. Not sure why. I'm also getting twitchy about the visit, like, Herbert Lom (who played French Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus in the Pink Panther films). Dear God why can't men handle a mid life crisis and just eat chocolate like the rest of us?
