the accent makes me go

cornsilk · 03/01/2009 14:31

Haven't seen them. She's not claiming to be bloaty is she?

Mamazon · 03/01/2009 14:32

l;ast i saw she had gone brunette. she's in these new ad's as bleach blonde with no hair.

think she looks a bit ill actually

dietstartstomorrow · 03/01/2009 14:32

Not keen on the hair.

TWINSETinapeartree · 03/01/2009 14:33

Very annoying, cant put my finger on why but I cant watch them

mosschops30 · 03/01/2009 14:35

She seems to have aged about 15 years, wearing clothes that are usually seen on the middle pages of old catalogues (t-shirts that come in a pack of 2 or 3 and jeans of no particular style that come up as far as you like).

Her hair looks like she's recovering from some awful disease.

Sorry but its just awful, never loved her but surely she didnt need to sink to this

she walked in front of me at the Leeds Abbey Dash (she was running it too) and she looked great even though the MC guy said she had been up all night with her little boy. Although she is supposed to be 5 foot 8 and she looked teeny to me. And she ran the bloody race in 46 minutes (erm 20 minutes faster than me, booooo)

mosschops30 · 03/01/2009 14:39

Well I know she used to be super fit and did loads of runs and stuff for charity. She was also one of dh's fave ladeez.

Now she just looks like one of the mums from school with ill-fitting clothing and bad hair

moss - I thought that too about her hair. The first time I saw the ad, I was trying to remember if she had been ill.

notnowplease · 03/01/2009 14:47

Looks v butch

frenchmumma · 05/01/2009 09:17

I also saw this yesterday and thought she must be ill - check out www.nellmcandrew.tv/index.php?option=com_morfeoshow&task=view&gallery=2&Itemid=53

frenchmumma · 05/01/2009 09:18

sorry meant to say check out pics of her how I remember her looking

MaryAnnSingleton · 05/01/2009 09:19

Oh I hate those ads anyway - 'it's like a dessert !' - yuck and what the feck is slow digestive transit ? bollocks. Still,it's nice yogurt

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 05/01/2009 09:24

I have a complete and irrational dislike of the way she says bloated.

PuppyMonkey · 05/01/2009 09:25

Shame on her for daring to have a northern accent.

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 10:27

I heart Nell...but that haircut, and possibly what she is wearing in that add, well, it just isn't doing anything for her

Still love her though...her Dvd's rock (Which reminds me, I should really start doing them again, lol)

Pawslikepaddington · 06/01/2009 10:30

Oi moss, the only reasons we wear ill fitting clothing is because we spend so much on chocs and wine to combat stress we can't afford new clothes! .

MrsMattie · 06/01/2009 12:54

I was going to start this very thread. What's with the hair?

AmIOdetteOrOdile · 06/01/2009 13:05

Agree - hair looks like a cross between recovering from an illness and a really bad version of Posh's new 'do.

MegBusset · 06/01/2009 13:17

She looks like Brigitte Nielsen.

BettyTurnip · 07/01/2009 14:09

Well, I wouldn't mind looking like shite if it meant looking like her!

BettyTurnip · 07/01/2009 14:10

NMc that is, not Brigitte Nielsen!!

BitOfFun · 07/01/2009 14:22

I think she looks great actually- longer hair would flatter her better, but I guess if she's very sporty that a short style is just a lot easier. The thing that bugs me about the ad is the dreadful acting and the funny little waggle of the spoon to entice us into action over our self-inflicted constipation...it reminds me of when they make the drones on America's Next Top Model do ads and they are always appalling. Still, even when they employ professionals to tell you about how spankingly quick their previously sluggish bowels were, they still end up irritating the shit out of you , so, meh.

FairLadyRantALot · 07/01/2009 14:36

wonder if Nell might be trying to shake off that pin-up-girl image and getting a more mumsy image going....

LurkerOfTheUniverse · 07/01/2009 16:59

definately the way she says 'bloated'

I'm a northerner so I can diss it
