No biggie - I'm sure it's different. It's from 2007. Looks like she has just used some (or all) of the 2007 interview to pad out her bitchy piece in teh Mail. The article I linked to is the Telegraph I thinks. Seems she has some grudge against Anthea or something - maybe a friend of Boveys Ex-wife?

totally unprofessional behaviour.

So, the DM is yet again publishing misogynistic crap.....what a surprise!

Jampot · 14/12/2008 14:41

dont like either of them but surprised at how she can mock AT and her dh because his property empire has gone tits up - weird. Hope they didnt pay her too much for this article.

Jan Moir is a total bitch. She did a horrible review of a local restaurant I know when she worked at The Telegraph, saying the owners were snotty when they are really nice people.

I remember another interview she did for the Telegraph with Vanessa Redgrave where she mocked the fact that Vanessa likes to have hyacinths in her home as it was her late mother's favourite fragrance and it reminds her of her mother (the actress Rachel Kempsom). Moir also made a nasty remark about the fact that Vanessa said that she always believed that she would have five children but in fact had only four (one of which was stillborn), writing something on the lines of "aren't there enough Redgraves' children cluttering up the acting profession?".
By all means have a go at Vanessa Redgraves over her political beliefs - that is fair game. But to me, mocking someone's memories of their late mother and making a catty remark about a stillborn child, is just depicable.

I just find it incredible that a so called journalist is allowed to re-hash a very old interview just so she can do another hatchet job!

devoutsceptic · 15/12/2008 17:36

It's pure poison, and says much more about Jan Moir than it does about Anthea Turner. Pointless, hysterical spite. I felt dirty reading it.

lou33 · 15/12/2008 17:42

she turned on the xmas lights in my town this year

i dont know why but i find her irritating in the extreme

beanieb · 15/12/2008 20:34

The only thing I ever really found annoying sbout Anthea was the fact she thought she invented the putting a duvet cover on inside out thing

lou33 · 15/12/2008 20:46

when she did the town lights it was quite amusing tho, as she was brought on stage by santa, who was v clearly pissed and kept making lewd comments about her

he was quickly despatched to the edge of the platform

higgle · 17/12/2008 16:48

Personally I loved it! Firstly Anthea pinched her husband from another woman and caused havoc for his children, secondly they both pursued the ludicrous dream that you could live the high life out of the property makret without a thought about tommorrow, and lastly she is quite capable of earning a living doing something productive and sensible if she applied herself to it, the "vulnerable little girl" act grows increasingly wearisome as she approaches 50.
