M - sorry for sudden departure last night.

I'm all over the place at the moment and not able to get straight mentally.

Hmm
That doesn't make a whole lot of sense but hopefully you know what I'm trying to say.

I won't go into details mainly because that wouldn't be fair to dh and at the end of the day what are you going to say/do? [although you are very good at being a friendly shoulder]

It's complex, as all relationships are, with their own dynamic that only the two people involved understand.

What really does help me is being able to come on here and laugh for half an hour or whatever.

No discussing major things, trying to put the world to rights, etc, and that's where the scuttle thread was a God send, but things move on, evolve, and that's good, has to be, I don't own exclusive rights to that thread and just because I don't feel comfortable with it anymore I shouldn't make it an issue that I bang on about all the time.

life will continue to limp along with sudden bursts of good times and I'll be fine again.

Tn0g · 08/01/2009 09:05

the other end is tied securely to a rock, if you decide to climb up it

wammywotz · 08/01/2009 09:15

wait I haven't read it all

wammywotz · 08/01/2009 09:17

I've had to register again to post you nanna heads
DH is rambling on about biros to me as I type/read

wammywotz · 08/01/2009 09:24

Thank go d MN format is the same. I was terrified it would all be pages to flip through. Just one long page as normal with lots of ramblings and twitterings.

Jan is shut a downer month (and a very busy one workwise for me - hence why I left, sorry I didn't mention it) anyway...lets all drink lots of coffee and cover ourselves with Dior (or whatever Xmas stuff) you got. I look stunning FWIW. Good job no web cam, the glare would be too much.

I'm thinking that I will upload a picture of DH's new biros later to excite you all.

Q: Why is it true that children brighten up the home?
A: Because they never turn the lights off.

I do love them, but I am glad they are back at school.

wammywotz · 08/01/2009 09:25

Thirteen!
As a adult having to do it? Not including the times as a child being dragged around? That's alot.

wammywotz · 08/01/2009 10:01

I want to post. Tnog as you say there is so much that happens in RL to all of us. Of course at time its feels that we can not help as we are here trapped in VL, even if you do or do not want help, but just want to post your troubles. That is the nature of forums like this. AIBU threads for instance are a epitome of it (love or loathe) . But as ml says, just by being here is enough (when you want, need, feel like it). Just by knowing you are there in Wicklow or Alice is walking the dog and that all the others we know are out there, doing their thing (Talcy drinking sherry glasses of rum), is great. And the best thing is no one expects anything in way of dependancy on others here (I really think that, we all manage, we have to). We all tick along, falling, stumbling, skipping, whatever. It's a place to come when you like it.

You all know we all have 'stuff' to manage, be it thoughts in our heads or, limbs that are aching, houses to be hunted, OH's that are a pain in the arse, or jobs to work hard at. My grammar is so bad, my word that was long. Anyway. What I mean - is that, I have no idea about it all.

Did I tell you I hate going to the dentist?
