Just realised, I short type.

What I mean by this is, instead of saying.

Oh yes we have been to Italsy and it is the same there.

I say:

Same in Italy.

WTF is that all about then?

Must clean.

MY MN cupcake debate

Mummylinfawkesoff · 04/11/2008 12:01

dd,s partner had to go into hopital this morning to have a camera look at both ends as he has been passing more blood !he is desperate to go home ,but dd is sticking to her guns for now, although i know she is feeling sorry for him at the moment.very difficult.

Waltzywotzy · 04/11/2008 12:04

ml how awful, it's never easy is it? This is the one with the drink problem I take It?

Mummylinfawkesoff · 04/11/2008 12:13

yes it is wotz.i think now he is realising that his life is in danger if he dosent quit it right now.He is expected to be able to leave the hosp this afternoon and he has to see his doc tomorrow.Im assuming they will give him the results of todays tests. Its terrible for dd,she is feeling so sorry for him ,but she cant have him home whilst he is still drinking. He has to get dry.then it will be different but until then she has to be a bit tough on him.

Waltzywotzy · 04/11/2008 12:17

It must be hard for her not to feel for him he is his own worst enemy at the moment. She has got to be tough to get through this.

Mummylinfawkesoff · 04/11/2008 12:21

yes it is wotz, i hope she dosent cave in and let him move back, not because i dont like him ,as i actually do ,but it wont help solve the problem ,he asked her to keep his cashpoint card so he cant keep getting money for drink.I hope to God this is his real wake up call. The trouble is i cant tell her what to do ,i can advise but she will do what she wants. And i know she is feeling for him at this time.

Mummylinfawkesoff · 04/11/2008 12:23

all i can do is to be here for her when she needs me, which of course i will, whatever choices she makes.

Waltzywotzy · 04/11/2008 12:24

It only gets harder being a parent doesn't it?

Mummylinfawkesoff · 04/11/2008 12:27

yes is my answer to that !!! a resounding yes.But on the other side of the coin i am lucky to be a parent!

Waltzywotzy · 04/11/2008 12:30

True, I was reading a thread earlier about tots hitting toys at each other, and I thought, umm....you wait, there is much more in store.

It is all part and parcel of being US (as in humans) isn't it.

I try to divide things in my worry box into levels of worry and things that can wait.

Mummylinfawkesoff · 04/11/2008 13:16

it would all be so much easier if we were like animals and they went off to fend for themselves after a while But i have to say ,the good outweighs the bad and its all part of lifes plans for us all.

AliceThroughtheLookingGlass · 04/11/2008 13:32

lol

at fending for themselves

that means dd gets her boyfriend to look after her....

Mummylinfawkesoff · 04/11/2008 13:47

i have often wondered if when animals leave their mum,if they met a few months later would they know it was their mum iykwim !!!

AliceThroughtheLookingGlass · 04/11/2008 13:49

especially zebras.....

must get on....i guess

Mummylinfawkesoff · 04/11/2008 13:49

AliceThroughtheLookingGlass · 04/11/2008 13:52
