Waltzywotzy · 22/10/2008 18:41

hang on he is talking business at me

Waltzywotzy · 22/10/2008 18:44

I would like a screen in here. To hide from Dh.

He is still going on. I'll be back later - your room sounds lovely.

Tn0g · 22/10/2008 18:49

hehehehe

does your dh's mouth move make noises but you don't actually comprehend any of it?

a bit like in snoopy cartoons, you know the way all the adults voices were just blurry noise

that's what it's like here when dh starts talking sometimes

I get tunnel vision

Tn0g · 22/10/2008 18:51

I've just had a flick through his new book

A lot of scantily clad women

I'll ask him about it later and he'll say it's good for research purposes

[hmmmmm]

Tn0g · 22/10/2008 18:53

off to make a wonderful concotion for dinner

do you tink it's ok to serve crackers and cheese as the main meal of the day?

Waltzywotzy · 22/10/2008 18:54

pmsl @ book

Yes lots of nodding and then he goes out to the bank for instance and I can't remember what he has said, or where he has popped out to!

He has gone to get food so I can type again. Its very hard to be interested in the things I should be at times. And then I have customers ringing who want to talk to me to! Blah blah blah, whatever........

Waltzywotzy · 22/10/2008 18:56

yes cheese always at any time
I always keep a jar of olives in the fridge and some crusty bread in the freezer, for such feasts. Catch you later may be.

Tn0g · 22/10/2008 19:06

oh yeah, olives, lovely.

Will you watch The Family tonight?

Always good to watch someone elses family stress

Waltzywotzy · 22/10/2008 19:23

Yes must watch that, it makes me feel so much better seeing it. Will force DH to sit through another episode.

Tn0g · 22/10/2008 19:54

lolo

Another programme to watch and make notes on.

Dh and I watch TV in shifts, seldom together, except for an Arts programme screened on one of the Irish stations, except I always fall asleep half way through it.

I go through phases of not bothering with TV and try to read or work on something or come on here,

but then I get sucked into things like The Family, later with Jools, River Cottage with Hugh and Monty's Chateau, stuff like that.

G makes us watch EastEnders and always on a Saturday we watch Strictly Come...so cheesy but good fun.We love Bruce!

Sometimes I go mad and lock the TV away in a big cupboard and hide the key.

G goes apoplectic and we have a big row with always ends in me telling him to read a book or make something with matchsticks and sellotape.

Lasts 2 days max and then the box is released and G takes to the sofa.

MummyTheQueenOfDarkness · 22/10/2008 20:51

Craggy · 23/10/2008 09:16

I have this awful fecking cold. Eyes running, well actually, first nose tickles me, then my eyes run, then I do a HUGE marathon sneeze.

Yuk.

Trusting you style icons are allwell today.

Weather: windy

Pets: Great wish they would no poo

Children: I think they need one nights rest from me, so they can get up super early, without me knocking ion the walls wailing "noooooooooooooo".

Colleagues: nice to have time away will be nice to be back though.

I have been out six times since starting working . I love a good night out.

Apparently I have been centre of attention a few times though. I just wish I could remember WHY?

Craggy · 23/10/2008 09:17

My nose does not tickle me. It is not THAT big. I have a tickle inside my nose.

Better.

MummyTheQueenOfDarkness · 23/10/2008 10:59
