I was just thinking about this when Vernon Kay came on the radio this morning. I didn't really listen to him. He seems to be massively popular, but he's got form for sending inappropriate messages to several women, albeit some time ago. The guy has two daughters too which makes it worse. But most people think he's great. How did he get away with it?

Obviously there are much worse offenders than him, he's no Westwood or Travis (afawk) but why has he managed to come up smelling of roses? In my book, what he did is worse than Scott Mills.

Most people haven't forgotten what he did, it's always been there in the background.
But at the end of the day, his wife chose to forgive him and stay in the marriage (at the time).

She chose to stay in the marriage - we don't know that she actually forgave him. That also doesn't change others' opinions of him. I think he is a sleaze.

Tess chose to stay with him (possibly for the sake of the children - who knows).

Any 'drama' was down-played. We will never know what truly happened and what happened 'behind closed doors' but Tess handled it publicly with dignity and class in my opinion.

To be fair, in her situation I probably would have done the same thing - then left once the children were old enough to emotionally cope with it.

She's a good Mum.
