How old were you when hen you had your first baby and your last baby?

Curious to know answers! I feel like I was quite young in my area for my first - 30… then second was 33. Still wondering about a third but I’m so tired I don’t think I’ll have the energy to do it if I’m any older!

36, via ivf and 2nd with another partner at 38.
Age was not a factor /issue

You can decide when or not to have your babies but whether that will happen is another thing.

37 and 41. Does one's ego no end of good to be classed as a "geriatric" pregnancy both times 🙃

26 and 30. I started and stopped before most of my friend group - feel like we’re out of the trenches (mine both in high school) while they all have little ones in primary!

28 and 31, so long ago now that I was down in my 1st baby notes as an ‘elderly’ primigravida! All the other mothers on the postnatal ward were 19-23 ish. (In the days when they kept you in for a week…).

Dd by contrast was 38, 39, and nearly 43.

My SIL had her last at 48.

My first was age 25 , then 30 and 33 years of age for the other 2

First at 28, second at 30, third at 34. I was considered a ‘geriatric’ Mum by the last baby.

31 and 31…much loved but one was enough for both DH and I

Just 19 years old
just 21 years old
Technically 24 years old. 25 years old, 3 days later.
30 years old, 3 months before my 31st birthday, my only daughter.

The last child from a second marriage which turned toxic. I was sterilised after I had my last child.

Married a good man at 36 years old and had my sterilisation reversed. It didn’t work.🥲

My third marriage has lasted 46 years !!

@MudandMoet Sorry if you’ve already been asked this question, I haven’t RTFT. How would you describe your motherhood experience at both ages?

Will be 22, 24, 26 and 29

30, 32 and 34

#1 at 28, a couple of months out from 29.

#2 at 30, a week away from turning 31.

It was the right time for us at our stage of life, met at 20, moved in together a few years later, married at 25/26, bought a house a year later then a year after then had #1.

Kids were always on the agenda from the age of 23 when I went from being unsure if I wanted them to definitely but we never actually thought about trying until we were settled in our house.

In a way I do wish we had started younger but it's much better logically, practically, financially to do it the way we did.
