How old were you when hen you had your first baby and your last baby?

Curious to know answers! I feel like I was quite young in my area for my first - 30… then second was 33. Still wondering about a third but I’m so tired I don’t think I’ll have the energy to do it if I’m any older!

Same as me, had my 2nd at 23

26 and 44

18 and 9 months for my first born (he’s now 22)!
39 for my last born (she’s almost 2)

29, 31 and (soon) 34. I think having your first between 30-33 is about the median nowadays :)

First baby at 24 & had no intention of having any more children. As Dr refused to sterilise me as I was classed as ‘too young’ I ended up with a surprise pregnancy and baby at almost 32. ( which was classed in those days as an older, mature mother!)

The gap turned out to be a blessing as eldest child (DS) was just the best older brother to his baby sister and years later at 52 he still looks out for her.

I have a friend who had her first dtr at 25 and 2 yrs later had twins. Don’t know how she managed 3 girls under 2.
