I don't believe the moon landings were faked, mostly because as others have said, I think it would have been difficult to keep it secret for so long.

Here is a light-hearted one which I don't of course seriously believe, but I like to amuse myself thinking what the public reaction would be like if it were revealed as true, like a child who learns that their beloved toy was quietly replaced with a similar one when it went missing. Here goes...

I've thought of another one. We need new laws to say that all new SUVs have to be 2/3 of their current size. I was parked in a car park last week in my little car and the cars were HUGE. They aren't even "normal" SUVs anymore, they are gigantic. Totally inappropriate for our roads.
