Feel rubbish after flu vaccine

I’ve been having them for a few years and never even know I’ve had them!?

I had the flu vaccine on Monday afternoon, was nauseous Monday evening, diarrhea and fever yesterday and feel only slightly better today.

The leaflet lists all of these as ‘very common’ side effects but I’ve yet to meet anyone else needing to take time off work due to a vaccine.

anyone else struggling after this years vaccine?

Glad I found this thread. I had a flue jab 8 days ago. Arm was super-sore afterwards, and I had a loose tummy the following day. Four days post-jab I started to have cold symptoms and now I have enlarged neck glands and a sore throat. I don't usually take up the flu jab because I don't tend to get the flu. However I read up on it and there was evidence the flu jab might significantly lower the risk of my chronic condition worsening over the winter period. I regret taking it now. Everyone I know tells me they get a cold after having the flu jab, like it's unlocked their immune system in some way and invited the virus in. Could be a coincidence, but I don't know. (More research needed?)

I just had the one by itself and just had a sore arm for a day and fell a little bit tired but other than that it was fine. I just made sure to keep hydrated with water throughout the day

I was in 2 minds about getting it this year and this thread is putting me tight off.

I’ve been having the flu and also Covid vaccines when it was available for years. Never felt unwell afterwards. My daughter felt a bit unwell for barely 24 hours afterwards this year. But even if I did feel unwell it could be a coincidence, and is much, much preferable to having actual, full blown flu.!

I have flu jab every and never normally react. I had mine last week and was extremely tired and sleepy for 3 days and didn’t want to do much. I’m 66+ The actual injection hurt more than I remember too but maybe that’s just the skill of the practitioner.
