DD is autistic and is going from specialist to mainstream secondary (Y8) at her request. She has a major shoe issue though as for years she has worn only crocs or Ugg style footwear. She has started wearing her brother’s AF1s but her new school won’t permit these as a reasonable adjustment, as it will cause issues with the other students who have been told they cannot wear them.
They will permit black trainers with a small logo, or no logo.
It’s seriously such a big deal that she has actually worn them happily. But she really wants to try this school and I don’t want this to be a dealbreaker.
Can anyone suggest similar look/feel/style black trainers which I can get her to try?
