Are digital notepads worth it?

I make lots of notes in my job, normally just to jot things down but then I end up losing them, or I turn the page and forget about it etc. Are digital notepads worth it, the ones where you write on it and it turns it into text? Was thinking it might get me more organised with not losing things I’ve written down 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have a Remarkable and I bloody love it!

Same, I have a reMarkable 2 and couldn't be without it at work.

I don't use the feature that turns my writing to text very often but it really helps with finding and organising my notes, rather than me having to flick through one or more paper notebooks!

Yeah that’s what I think I’ll use it for. I’ve tried making notes in Notes but I don’t think typing them. I still like to write, asterisk stuff, draw arrows etc.

Looked into the remarkable but didn’t want another device to carry, charge etc.

in the end I bought the Good notes app for my iPad and a £5 iPad pen from Amazon. I love it.

DH has one but I don't know the brand. He uses it daily during team calls he chairs to create the minutes afterwards.

It's also in strong use for his hobby as a Scout group lead volunteer when he has meetings with other leaders.

That thing is always on his desk. He prefers it to a ipad as his one has a non-glary screen, similar to a kindle.
