I know I posted yesterday about this, but I wanted to focus particularly on shops. What shops would you go to from the Leicester Square area and surroundings.
Yesterday people suggested Regents Street with Hamleys for children and Liberty, and piccadilly with Fortnum's?

There is an enormous amount around the west end. Are you looking for anything in particular?

I like Les Senteurs, a perfumery on Elizabeth St near The Hyde Park end of Edgware Road.

Depends what you want to buy.
I love the giant Waterstones just down from Piccadilly Circus.
Forbidden Planet on Shaftesbury Avenue is good (but frequently crowded) if you are into sci-fi/fantasy, comics, pop culture etc.

Clothes shops, department stores, games/puzzles/books and food I think.

Carnaby street is great just behind regent street and backs onto liberty.

You can get on the tube a few stops to Knightsbridge and visit Harrods and Harvey Nichols - well worth a trip. Selfridge’s on Oxford Street well worth a visit as well. Covent Garden is also a few minute’s walk from Leicester Square as well with loads there. Have fun!

For tween/ teens there are several shops there that they really like.

If you like books then Foyles on Charing Cross Road (very near Leicester Square) is great, as well as the enormous Waterstones on Piccadilly
