How do you feel your life is going ?

Just like in terms of your expectations and what life's thrown at you etc

I'm nearing 40 and feel incredibly lucky. I was kind of anxious in my teens and early 20s and assumed things would go wrong but everything I was worried about turned out to be fine.

From the outside looking in I’ve got it all figured out and I’m well aware I’m living some people’s dream.
As per @WhatNextImScared I’ve hit my 40s and started to wonder what it was all for and if I even wanted it in the first place. This makes me feel guilty for being ungrateful (I promise I’m not!) which makes me feel like a shitty person. It’s lonely.
Can’t talk about it in real life because I’d be (rightly) told to fuck off and stop moaning that my diamond shoes are too tight.

I was thinking about this myself recently and came to the conclusion that, if every single decision and action I’ve ever made/taken have led me to where I am now, I don’t have a single regret.

Life is great, but nothing is ever guaranteed, so I’m going to appreciate the good while I can.
