What games on the switch are your 9 year olds playing? Does anyone know if goat simulator is ok for 9 year olds? My son is looking for new games but have seen mixed reports on goat simulator so wondering what else they are playing?

My DS is a year younger, but enjoys Legend of Zelda, Luigi’s Mansion, Super Smash Bros, a Pokémon one which I can remember the specific name of, and Pikmin.

My son is a bit younger but loves Pokopia (as do I). It’s a Pokemon game but you have to build a new world and complete various tasks.

I have held off getting Goat Simulator because there is a bit of swearing apparently. We enjoyed Untitled Goose Game though which is somewhat similar.

Amongst other things DS likes Minecraft, Luigi's Mansion 3, Mario Odyssey, Mario Wonder, Mariokart, Mario Maker, the various Sonic games (although some are better than others). He also really enjoys having the Nintendo online subscription which is a couple of pounds a month and gives you loads of old SNES and NES games. We also sometimes do Just Dance together.

For his birthday he has asked for Minecraft Dungeons, Pikmin 3 (not Pikmin 4 - Pikmin 3 has a good Co-Op mode) and Animal Crossing. I'm considering Kirby for Christmas as he likes the old school Kirby games.

All the super mario games are great. I love animals crossing. We've all enjoyed the lego games
