Cheeseboard for one?

It’s our anniversary next week and we’re celebrating with drinks in the house, but I fancy a posh cheeseboard. DP won’t eat anything from it and I don’t want to waste food or money by doing a big one. Any ideas for a nice cheeseboard for one?

M&S does the French cheese board in a half size which would probably be perfect!

Morrisons have a nice range of deli cheeses, some are quite small portions already cut, so ideal for one. Pair up with some nice chutney and posh crackers.

Depending on where you live…. If near a cheesemonger (London - Paxton & Whitfield) you could get them to cut slivers off different cheeses.
if not, think of your absolutely favourite cheese and buy the best of that in the supermarket or deli. Quality over quantity imo

If it’s a special event I’d go to my nearest local cheese shop/specialty market and give them your budget and let them curate you one with your favourite types of cheese.

I would imagine they’d love doing it for you Happy anniversary x .

I live alone and often have several cheeses on the go, I do love it! I'd just cut pieces of cheeses if doing a cheeseboard for one and eat the rest.
For a nice cheeseboard I'd have a really strong cheddar, piece of Pie d' anglois, manchego, goats cheese, quince jelly, chutney, grapes and selection of Peter's Yard crackers.
