Has anyone washed Ty Beanie Boos without affecting their fur?

Just that really but specifically for Ty Beanie Boos. Will their fur stay fluffy after a gentle machine wash? Obviously put inside a pillow case before air drying?

Has anyone ever actually done this with success? Did it effect the fur in anyway?

I've washed some on synthetic and it came out fine. I also tumbled dry it on a synthetic setting to get it fluffy quickly and air dried it afterwards.

TY soft toys tend to keep their nice fur condition much better than Jellycats toys which is why you see so many of them from 20+ years ago being enjoyed.
