I bought a bed frame and mattress about 17 years ago. They were both great. The frame collapsed about a year ago. Bought a different sized bed and mattress a second time and haven’t loved it as much. Think it’s actually the mattress that’s not great. We might have just been unlucky that time.

Customer service was a bit, nonchalant, let’s say. Lovely people but didn’t seem to think it was all that important to keep you updated on things. Maybe they were busy sorting orders and designing beds to be fair! I suspect they’ve probably upped their game in that respect now.

id consider buying from them again.

Yes my bed! Bought 10 years ago. Same, customer service didn't get round to sending us our bed for four months (I know they are hand-made but still) but, we were travelling around a bit so it wasn't a priority and our return coincided with the eventual delivery date so all was well. Tbf they did offer to send a stand in bed after the third month but like I say, we weren't in need of it.

Like sleeping on a cloud. My niece comes to stay and she says when she's a grown up she wants a bed just like mine.

Which bed and mattress was it if you don't mind me asking?

Our exact bed isn't listed anymore, but it was a slightly more dramatic (headboard wise, it curved round a bit more) version of this:

And we went big on the mattress, not sure if this is the exact name, but def the most expensive one:

We have the coco bed. Very solid. We always have wool mattresses so cant comment on the loaf ones.

there is a place in bury st edmunds which sells loaf returns/seconds which is where we got ours from. Much cheaper and only a tiny mark on the velvet headboard.

I’m going to give the opposite experience! We have one of the Loaf beds with drawers underneath. The drawers collapsed really quickly. I would recommend Sueno for beds.
