Where are the best places to sleep outside in London, England, uk ? I have a nice home, i am not homeless. I have thought of libraries and cinema's and family homes.

Other people’s family homes? Good luck with that.

Dunnow1 · 10/09/2026 19:43

Libraries, cinemas and homes are all inside places!

PrettyLittleRose · 10/09/2026 19:45

Why? Confused

well, this is a puzzling thread...

Kangarude · 10/09/2026 19:54

How about a park bench? That’s outside
Why do want to do this? I take it that you’re not in the UK?

ApolloandDaphne · 10/09/2026 19:55

In a spa?

ApolloandDaphne · 10/09/2026 19:56

Are you looking for places to snooze when you aren't at home? I can easily snooze in my car.

Seziah · 10/09/2026 21:14

Do you mean at night? Why can’t you sleep at home?

AatoZz · 10/09/2026 21:52

Are you having problems at home? You could contact Citizens Advice tomorrow, they may be able to offer you some advice. You could also check whether there’s a Women’s Aid group or a local church in your area that might be able to help. Sleeping outside isn't safe and the nights are getting colder.

TheFormerMrsTruelove · 10/09/2026 22:05

Do you mean sleeping outside because you fancy a nap? Cinemas are loud and you’ll get 2 hours max, assuming you fall asleep straight away. Also, a bit dark from a safety point of view. I’d worry about being robbed in a park. Maybe a spa? An outdoor pool?

Or do you mean sleeping outside because you’re homeless? In which case, as far away from everyone else as possible. Obviously not a cinema because it’s prohibitively expensive. A library you’d get chucked out. The doorway of the local council offices?

Maybe some more information might help

You’re the poster with the horrible neighbours, aren’t you.

You can’t let them drive you out of your home.

Can you involve the police? I hope you get your house swap soon.

I think some homeless people ride the night buses to stay warm and dry - but I can’t imagine a nosey neighbour being worse than that prospect, it sounds awful.

Airports. Train stations. Hospitals. Anywhere there are people working 24/7 or overnight really has to be the safest bet but nothing will be very comfortable or let you get much sleep I’m afraid.

What exactly is the issue you are trying to avoid in case that helps with more appropriate suggestions. Are they loud and disturbing your sleep?

WeightLossGoal2024 · 10/09/2026 23:42

I don’t think a library would be ok

ghostyslovesheets · 10/09/2026 23:45
