Scammy Tesco at it again

Would you look at this

Same variety, same geographical origin. Same size even, and same expiry date.

One is called Baby Potatoes and is 99p per kilo and one is called Minature Potatoes and is £1.93 per kilo (£1.45 for 750g).

How do they even get away with this.

Are they exactly the same type?

Yes, both Jazzy potatoes.
I turned them over in store to see through the back, the potatoes were the same size.

I think the picture for the baby potatoes is them cooked " serving suggestion" style while the miniatures are raw so that could explain the difference in the photos. But the only way to know for sure would be to buy both bags and compare and that is just doing what Tesco wants.

Is it also the case that the baby potatoes are in a 1kg bag but the minis in a 750g bag? That likely also explains the difference in proce per weight since smaller bags usually cost more per kilo. But it's still a bit cheeky.

All the supermarkets do that though don't they? Baby potatoes, miniature potatoes, salad potatoes all at different prices.

There aint going to be big potatoes this year.
