AI Thread Titles?

I keep seeing people explaining that their thread titles might not be the best because they have used AI to create them.

May I ask why people can't come up with a title on their own?

Is this something that is being pushed by Mumsnet?

Many mumsnetters use AI as a therapist/boyfriend/bestie/brain, so using it to come up with a thread title seems fairly innocuous.

If you start a thread, MN now generates an AI title for you cunningly hiding at the bottom of your post You can override the nonsense title yourself, but I think a lot of posters just don't realise that they can, hence the "sorry it's AI" comments.
