Good evening,
I apologise if I have put this is the wrong thread.
I may have mentioned this before on here, but can't remember for certain.
Does anyone on here have an eating disorder? ie not eating enough?
I do but for a very specific reason?
All my friends are constantly saying that they want to lose weight and i'm the opposite.

What do you want from this thread? You haven't said and posters are rightly wary of ED chat without context.

Have you seen the eating disorders section?

But yes, I have a similar issue. It's a pain.

Sorry, I typed this in a rush so I see your point.
I took 999 calls for a lot of years and dealt with choking incidents. This has unfortunately given me a fear of choking and sometimes eating.
Due to this I have lost a substantial amount of weight and I want to put it back on.

Oh that’s really hard, understandable it would stay with you. Have you seen anyone for help? If not I’d start with Gp and it sounds like something that cbt could help with.

So sorry to hear of your experience OP.
Before working on the weight issue you need to tackle the phobia. What therapy have you had so far?

Thank you and I don't talk about this much in the real world. But I have had counselling. The calls still stay with me though. x

Thank you so much. I have had counselling. I think that at night when I am awake alone, it just plays on my mind. x
