Maths question - returns policy dispute

I will start by saying maths is not my strong point.

I am having a dispute with a clothing company.
Frankly they have been absolutely awful to deal with from the start.

The issue at hand:
*I did not receive some items from my order.
*They said these items were delivered on 31st July (I received the other packages fine).
*I have a screenshot of a message on the 14th of August asking if there is any update on my missing items.
*They have said that this was not within the 14 day window and so they will not offer me a refund or replacement.

Now I actually contacted them before this, which is why in my message on the 14th I said I still haven’t received the items and have asked for an update.
But I am unable to access this message easily as it will mean reactivating a SM account etc

So if I ‘received’ the items on 31st July - what’s the last day within the 14 day time frame?

I’d say 13th tbh.

I would find that other message if I was you. Save the argument. If they count the 31st as day 1 then it will be the 13th.

I think I’ll have to too but I didn’t want to due to the reasons I deactivated the account (ex)

I think the length of time is irrelevant and that they need to prove that you received all the parckages. You're not trying to return anything, you're complaining about not receiving them.

They haven't performed their part of the contract.

You deem the contract rescinded and want your money returned.

You only need to reactivate it for 5 minutes tho to get proof. Then deactivate again.

The 14 days were definitely up on 13th IMO!
